Camille Fournier de Lauriere started his PhD at ETH Zürich in March 2024, focusing on Environmental Politics of Air Quality. He holds a Master's degree in Ecosystems Ecology from the University of Montpellier and a Bachelor's degree in Ecology from the same university. Prior to his PhD, Camille worked as a Geospatial Scientist and Assistant Scientist at the Crowther Lab, ETH Zürich, where he quantified vegetation resilience globally using remote sensing and machine learning. He also completed a research internship at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS) in Montpellier, focusing on the variability of monitored holm oak forests.
Camille's research interests include resilience, air pollution, and biodiversity. He has been actively involved in projects and research that integrate ecological modeling, eDNA, and machine learning to enhance the understanding of species distributions and environmental resilience.
