Sarah Gomm

Sarah Gomm is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the International Political Economy/International Environmental Politics group at the Center for Comparative and International Studies (CIS). Her research on environmental politics has a particular focus on individual-level public opinion dynamics. She is primarily interested in investigating barriers and pathways to policy support by, for example, looking at aspects of mental health, populist attitudes, values, worldviews, and trust.
Sarah completed her doctoral degree at ETH Zurich, and holds two Master’s degrees from Konstanz University in Politics and Public Administration and Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona) in Research in Political Science. In addition, she has obtained two Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Cultural Anthropology from Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg. Sarah is project coordinator of the Swiss Environmental Panel and co-organizer of the Zurich Political Economy Seminar Series.
Sarah’s recent work has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Climatic Change, Environmental Research, Journal of Cleaner Production and Journal of European Public Policy.
